Product Description

On May 11th 1892, distiller Hugo Asbach founded his company under the name “Export Compagnie für Deutschen Cognac” (export company for German cognac). His aim was to produce German Cognac which was to be of equal quality to its French counterpart. On March 18th 1908, the brand name “Asbach & Co. Uralt” was registered at the Trade Registry of the Imperial Patent Office.

Carefully selected distillates from the best vineyards and at least 15 years of aging in limousine oak barrels are the basis for the Asbach 15 Year Brandy. It impresses with a balance between an elegant and noble harmony with the rich aromas and the characteristic of old distillates, and comes in a special Asbach gift tube.

Tasting Notes
— Color: Like dark gold with reds
— Aroma: Marked by jasmine, supported by notes of citrus and vanilla as well as hints of green apple; a flower type
— Palate: Elegant, fresh, vinous and soft, rounded off by a light sweetness and a barely perceptible bitter note
— Finish: Very long, exceptionally mild with noble maturity
