Product Description

From 1892 through 1954, the U.S. Mint produced special commemorative coins for 53 different events, occasions, and individuals. This resulted in the production of over 180 silver and gold commemorative coins during that time period. Offered here is one of the most popular $1 gold commemoratives which celebrates the Panama-Pacific exposition of 1915 and the opening of the Panama Canal. There are three other gold Panama Pacific commemoratives in the series, a $2.5, a $50 round and a $50 octagonal and this is by far the easiest to acquire. This coin is a gem uncirculated example certified by NGC & CAC. You will receive the unique coin shown in the photos housed in plush-lined box with a certificate of authenticity.
