After years of working alongside renowned designers like Sergio Rossi and Bruno Magli, Rupert Sanderson established is own footwear label in 2001 with the philosophy that "less is more"— a principle that continues to underlie every one of his collections. His focus is on creating the perfect silhouette, with beautiful curves, expert craftsmanship, and the finest leathers and materials available. Sanderson remains uncommonly focused on shoe making, and in 2006, purchased a small factory in Italy that was facing closure in order to help keep the craft of shoemaking alive in the region for future generations.
