Handmade in Chicago, The Cap Fountain Pen delivers a smooth-writing, high end writing expereince. The Cap features antique maple as the primary wood, jakarta as the accent, and gunmetal hardware accents. Antique maple is a remnant of America's old-growth forests, which has been reclaimed from a 1800's Wisconson dairy barn. Jakara is a mix of beautiful, dark-grained tropical hardwood which has been reclaimed from Asian shipping crates landing on the west coast. The end result is a worldy tool that is as useful as it is beautiful.
