Kushan, India, c. 1st - 3rd Century AD. A beautiful Kushan terracotta bust of a young woman with her features nicely rendered. She wears a tall diadem with central rosette and a veil, multiple necklaces adorn her neck and petal earrings in her ears. There's traces of white slip and fingerprints of the ancient maker still visible on the surfaces.
